Mr. Toru Tamura joined Bharat Certis Agriscience Ltd. in November 2024 as Managing Director. He previously worked for the company from 2020 to 2021 as VP of Corporate Planning, leading post-merger integration following Mitsui & Co., Ltd.'s equity participation in September 2020.

Mr. Tamura began his professional career at Mitsui & Co., Ltd. in 1995 after earning his bachelor's degree from Waseda University School of Law. Around his 30 years in the industry, he has gained diverse expertise in accounting, global trading, investment projects, joint venture management, and strategic planning, with experience in Japan, Belgium, India, and the US.

His various assignments, especially in management roles over the past decade, have helped him develop strong leadership skills.

Mr. Hitoshi Kudo is General Manager of AgriScience Division of Mitsui & Co., Ltd., and holds the office of the Director of Bharat Certis AgriScience Ltd.

He started his business career in a leading universal bank in Japan. After joining Mitsui in 2003, he has developed business experiences in agrichemical and nutrition science industry.

Mr. Kudo holds Bachelor’s Degree in Economics in Hitotsubashi University & MBA in University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

Mr. Rajender Prasad Gupta is one of promoter at Bharat Group of companies. He has been a Whole Time Director of Bharat Rasayan Limited since its inception. He has over 35 years of extensive experience in the Crop Protection Product industry. Soon after completing his educational qualifications, he joined Bharat Certis AgriScience Ltd. as a Director where he got a chance to master his technical and leadership skills.

Mr. Ken Takahashi joined Mitsui & Co.,Ltd. In 1990 after getting a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineer from Tokyo Institute of Technology.

He worked in North America for 9 years at Los Angeles, New York, and Houston for overseas assignments from Japan. Before first overseas assignment at Los Angeles in 2002 acting as a full-time director and CFO of aircraft operating lease company, Mr Takahashi was covering Asian project including India, Thailand as a person-in-charge of project finance.

He worked in Project Finance covering various countries in Asia (1995-2002) and Americas (2010-2014) for approx. 12 years. He worked as GM of Investment Management Dept. for Mitsui Americas Business Unit (NY, 2014-2018) and Food & Retail (Tokyo, 2018-2023).

Takanori Baba born in Tokyo, Japan pursued Law degree at the University, specializing in Antitrust Law. Also had experience in studying Chinese for one year at University in Beijing.

He has 30 years of experience with Mitsui & Co. with extensive Business experience in fertilizer industry for 20 years and has spent around 10 years in Corporate Planning & Strategy, New business development roles in London, Tokyo and Nagoya. As Chief Strategy Officer at Bharat Certis AgriScience Ltd., he is responsible for overseeing critical business decisions and execute company management in collaboration with the Managing Director.

He enjoys exploring cities, marvelling at architectural wonders, indulging in local cuisines, and honing his culinary skills. Additionally, he finds relaxation in Ayurveda, the thrill of golf, and joy of engaging with diverse cultures.

Mr. Tarang Srivastava currently works as the Head of International Business at Certis Biologicals (a subsidiary of Mitsui & Co., Ltd., based in Columbia, MD, USA). He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture & Animal Husbandry (Hons.) from GB Pant University of Agri & Tech, Pantnagar and an EMIB from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi.

Tarang has 26 years’ experience in global crop protection and farm equipment industries with DuPont, Dow Agrosciences, UPL and Mahindra. In his career, Tarang has led several start-up to scale-up business operations in over 50 countries and has served assignments in India, Japan and now in the USA.

Ms Deepshikha is a seasoned clinical therapy professional focused on improving patients’ mental well being and life through compassion and knowledgeable support. Backed with specialised studies from UK & rich experience in her domain, Ms Deepshikha thrives on transforming lives and is adept at getting to the roots of the problem and helping clients develop effective coping skills for different life situations, triggers, and traumas. She is on board as Director at Bharat Certis AgriScience Ltd.

Dr. Ashwani Kumar Singh earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Purvanchal University and embarked on his professional journey as a research scientist specializing in organic synthesis. With 26 years of diverse and meaningful experience in the fertilizer, bio-fertilizer, and pesticide formulation sectors, he has held various leadership roles, guiding plant operations across multiple companies.

Currently serving as the Director of Production, Dr. Singh oversees plant operations and research and development while prioritizing the creation of a nurturing and innovative environment for his team. His commitment to supporting his colleagues reflects his deep understanding of the importance of collaboration and growth in the workplace.
